Listen safely

Safety comes before the session

For adults, in a safe place

Hypnolune is for people aged 18 and over. Listen only while seated or lying down somewhere you can safely relax. Never listen while driving, cycling, operating machinery, crossing roads, caring for someone who needs your attention or doing anything that requires alertness.

Stop when something feels wrong

You remain in control and can pause or leave a session at any time. Stop if you feel distressed, dizzy, confused, nauseated, unusually drowsy or otherwise unwell. Reorient yourself, notice the room, move gently and seek appropriate help if the feeling continues.

When to ask a clinician first

Do not use Hypnolune with epilepsy or a seizure/neurological condition, psychosis, schizophrenia, a dissociative disorder, severe mental illness, recent trauma or PTSD unless a qualified clinician who understands your situation says it is appropriate. Ask a clinician first if you have any condition that could be affected by focused-attention or relaxation exercises.

Not medical or psychological care

Hypnolune is a general wellness experience designed to support relaxation and routines. It does not diagnose, treat or cure insomnia, anxiety, epilepsy, psychosis or any other condition, and it is not a substitute for medical care, therapy or prescribed treatment. Speak with a qualified professional about persistent symptoms or concerns.

If you are in crisis

Hypnolune is not a crisis service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services now. Crisis support includes:

  • India: Tele-MANAS, call 14416.
  • United States: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, call or text 988.
  • United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland: Samaritans, call 116 123.
  • Elsewhere: contact your local emergency number or a recognised crisis service in your country.
